Of Greek heritage, born and raised in Melbourne, Manny started his musical career as a classical double bass player, proceeding through an eclectic Jazz juncture through to achieving status as an innovative  Indie bass player in Queensland culminating in the “Bass Player of the Year award. No musical genre escaped his contribution during his 25-year performance history throughout Victoria and Queensland.

This experience proved to be invaluable as his professional career on the OTHER side of the music industry where he cut his teeth on the North Queensland covers circuit for an agency (now defunct) on the Gold Coast. Since 1990, Manny has driven and guided his own agency, the Petrie Terrace based National Entertainment Service Company, The Pushworth Group contributing to the careers of hundreds of Australian artists.

Some of Manny’s pet projects over the past 25 years have included The Butterfly Effect, Savage Garden, Fiona Horne and DEFFX, Grinspoon, Russell Crowe’s musical projects,  Killing Heidi, Nancy Vandal ,The Living End & GANGgajang,  – to name just a few and you begin to get an idea of the caliber of artists that Manny as worked with.

Developing artists, building a live music culture and supporting venue business has been Manny’s hallmark. He is the champion of live music in Queensland with his programs such as The Manick Project and Gigahertz. Manny produces every performance as a special event whether it is a DJ in your hotel or a major Australian community music festival like the Caxton Street Seafood and Wine Festival where he produced all stages from 2003 to 2014.

He is currently working in partnership with Nicki with MANICK MANAGEMENT Artist Management projects with a variety of Artists seeking to rebuild careers, plan a new release or generally reinvigorate their brands in accordance with their long term career plan.
